Episode Description

Here's a free preview of session 1 so you get a sense of what this course is like. 

 

I have to be honest, there's no exciting bells and whistles in this course. We have too much of that in our busy lives, which makes us constantly seek more to get the same highs, and numbs our senses to the real experiences unfolding right in front of us. 

 

Let's go back to the basics, train our attention for better focus, connect and grow from all our experiences. (yes, even the boring and painful parts of life). 

 

To benefit the most from this course, 

  • keep an open mind
  • regular, consistent practice is more effective than intensive bursts once in a long while
  • pause the videos after each practice to give yourself time to reflect and understand how it can help you in daily life
  • use the exercises in the workbook to further strengthen your mindfulness muscles
