Course outline
Session 1: Introduction to Mindfulness
> Build your foundations in mindfulness practice.
Session 2: Mindfulness of the Body
> Stay connected with yourself, be aware of body sensations and movement so you can care better for this one and only vessel that lasts you for a lifetime.
Session 3: Mindfulness of Emotions
> Understand and manage emotions the mindful way, tune in without getting overwhelmed or destructive.
Session 4: Being with What's Difficult
> Learn to stay calm and navigate discomfort in the face of problems and difficulties, so you can emerge with grace and wisdom.
Session 5: Loving Kindness and Compassion
> Move over, inner self-critic. Make space for a compassionate coach to balance your inner landscape, and watch it flow to other aspects of your life.
Each session has an accompanying Student Workbook for regular self-practice and journaling questions to guide your reflections.

Trainer's profile
Lilian Ong is a seasoned, empathetic counsellor and wellness advocate based in Singapore, with more than 20 years of experience in helping adults and parents flourish. Her career experience spans 5 years in Singapore Prisons Service, 13 years at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital where she specialised in perinatal and infant mental health, and has grown into her own private practice at Wellness Journey, founded in 2022.
Holding a Master's in Counselling from Monash University, Lilian blends a person-centred ethos with evidence-based techniques—from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and more—empowering clients to heal, grow and thrive. She walks alongside clients navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, parenting transitions, identity shifts, and everyday challenges.
Besides providing therapy, Lilian also offers clinical supervision for fellow professionals, and contributes to expanding mental wellness access through public talks, corporate training, and wellness retreats. She believes in creating safe, non-judgmental spaces—whether in-person or online, in therapy or workshops — to collaboratively find clarity, cultivate strength, and discover meaning in the journey of life.
